1995
Once Uwe Kraft, the current Managing Director, successfully completed his examination for the master's certificate in the middle of 1995 we began our work at the beginning of 1996 as a registered master workshop in Frankenhardt-Honhardt (administrative district of Schwäbisch Hall).
Uwe Kraft, who grew up on the successful horse breeding farm Karl Kraft, immediately specialised in manufacture of equipment for the riding sports.
We began by producing our riding arena scraper and horse exercise yards in a vaulted cellar on the old yard.
This is also where the finished products were stored in the first years.
This picture shows the prototype of the very first Kraft Horse Walker on the grassland of the Kraft family at the Sandberg in Honhardt. By the way: This Horse Walker still runs reliably near Berchtesgaden at the facility of Mrs. Schifflechner.
1997
Equitana: First trade show visit in Louisville, Kentucky (USA)
Uwe Kraft and Bob Stone from Westcliff Colorado, first owner of a Kraft Horse-Walker in the USA at the fair trade Equitana in Louiseville, Kentucky.
The first honorarily working staff members were Karl Kraft (father of Uwe Kraft) and Conrad Mülsch (father-in-law of Uwe Kraft).
This picture also shows Dieter Haase, on one of the first construction jobs in Switzerland at the site of Mr. Jürg Lenherr in Pfyr (riding facility Lanfurihof).
The "Pensioner-Gang" has supported the Kraft company from the very beginning - they made it all possible!
1999
It soon became clear that the space available was too small and thus we began work in 1999 on building a production hall with an office wing.
2000
In January 2000 the whole operation, at that time of 10 permanently employed colleagues, moved into the new facilities and immediately began to resume production there.
After completing his examination for the master's certificate in April 1999 Uwe’s brother Frank joined the company and in September 2000 was appointed to the position of Assistant Managing Director.
2004
Frank Kraft has been in charge of Kraft Brothers, Inc. in Paris Kentucky USA since October 2004.
2006
KRAFT has been running a 300 sq.m. 30 KW photovoltaic plant since 2006 on the roof of its own production hall.
The good experience it has gained with this has inspired Kraft to install a second photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 45 KW in the form of a Kraft 18 m. dia. round hall and a rotatable solar roof.
