Foundations

Substructure and foundation work are the basis of every building works! This is usually done by the client on-site according to the KRAFT specifications; the client is then responsible for the precision of the dimensions and the angles.

KRAFT will, however, offer to also take over the earth-moving and foundation work. There are detailed foundation plans available for all types and sizes of KRAFT horse walkers.

KRAFT offers the following foundations depending on the type of horse walker used and the ground mechanics on-site:

Type A: Individual foundations
Type B: Ditto plus running surface
Type C: Ditto plus base plate
Type D: Just the base plate

The following always apply:

The ground must be levelled off
The individual foundations must be at least 80 cm deep (a frost-free substructure)
a cm cleanliness layer C15/20
foundation concrete C 20/25
Design of the building work takes place according to German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB) provisions.
